We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure high standards of food safety and service, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. Applicants should have a background in hospitality management, with previous supervising and team management experience. The position includes live in with a 3 bedroom flat above the restaurant and full Tronc scheme averaging 2ph.
Duties
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards
Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment
Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary to support kitchen staff during busy periods
Optimise staffing levels, and monitor performance
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control
Implement training programmes for new staff members in food safety, service standards, and operational procedures
Skills
Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management abilities with excellent leadership qualities
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Experience in serving guests efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality
Knowledge of kitchen operations including food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Strong communication skills to liaise with staff and guests confidently
