Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service and high-quality food to our guests. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food safety standards while fostering a positive work environment.

This is a live-in job.


Applicants that require live-in, will have to be DBS checked.



Duties



Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. Maintain efficient workflow and high culinary standards. Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance within the restaurant. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment is essential. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
