Job Opportunity: Restaurant Manager at The Sparrows

The Sparrows, located at 16 Redbank, M4 4HB, Manchester, is actively seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team. Specializing in fresh pasta and dumplings, our establishment also carries a unique selection of Central European wines and spirits, creating a distinctive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute effective line management, overseeing day-to-day operations for optimal efficiency. Manage business financials effectively, implementing and controlling sales targets and wastage. Lead and motivate a dynamic team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Prioritize staff training and development to ensure a high level of service and product knowledge. Uphold and enforce rigorous quality control procedures in both food and service. Liaise with the Reservations manager to ensure large bookings, events and holidays run smoothly. Manage inventory, ordering, and build strong relationships with suppliers. Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Restaurant Manager. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. Good general knowledge of food and drink preparation and serving. Proven ability in line management and team training with demonstrable understanding of relevant U.K. HR legislation. Good understanding of reservation and stock control software (non specific).

Preferred Requirements

Knowledge of Central European cuisine and beverages.

Benefits:
