We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage staff, ensure food safety standards, and maintain high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures to maximise profitability.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff. Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with both guests and team members. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in food production or kitchen management is highly desirable. Familiarity with barista duties or hotel operations can be advantageous.
