Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food service management, team management, and operational efficiency to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and budgeting. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and preparation. Train, develop, and mentor staff in areas such as cooking techniques, customer service, and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS). Oversee shift management to ensure smooth service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock for food production and catering events. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement training programs focused on culinary skills, hospitality management, and leadership development.

Qualifications



Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with experience in both quick service & fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS). Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in budgeting, inventory control, and financial reporting within a restaurant setting. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues efficiently. Previous experience in training & development of staff is preferred.
