We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, showcasing exceptional leadership and management skills. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
Maintain inventory control and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
Implement effective cash handling procedures and manage the POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient transactions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting food safety standards within the kitchen.
Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve operational goals.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to enhance guest experiences.
Supervise daily shift operations, ensuring smooth service flow during peak hours.
Collaborate with kitchen management on menu planning, food production, and catering services as needed.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong background in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments preferred.
Experience with fine dining or banquet services is an asset.
Familiarity with culinary practices, kitchen management, and food production techniques is essential.
Demonstrated ability in team management, leadership, and training & development of staff members.
Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant context is beneficial.
