We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety standards are highly desirable. The successful applicant will be an organised individual capable of managing multiple tables efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance guest enjoyment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guests' needs are met throughout their dining experience Refill drinks and clear tables efficiently to maintain a clean environment Upsell additional menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities Assist with setting up tables and preparing the dining area before service Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Handle guest queries or complaints professionally, aiming for swift resolution

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions Experience with serving in a fast-paced environment is advantageous Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not essential A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.87 per hour
