We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction
Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development
Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure compliance with safety standards
Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste
Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including food safety practices
Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to enhance guest experience
Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen environments
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers
