We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a dedicated team. Duties
Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to maintain high standards of service
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across the kitchen and front-of-house areas
Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere
Assist in training staff on food safety, service protocols, and culinary techniques such as food production and serving skills
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and overall presentation of the restaurant environment
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to organise and oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Experience in food production, kitchen management, or hotel operations is advantageous
Good understanding of hospitality industry standards including serving procedures and customer service excellence
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly whilst maintaining professionalism
Previous barista experience or bar management skills are considered beneficial but not essential
