Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety standards, and ensuring efficient restaurant operations across casual dining, fine dining, or catering settings. A background in hospitality management, culinary arts, or restaurant experience is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness Oversee staff training, development, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of customer service and food quality Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for smooth operations Handle cash transactions and POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS with accuracy Monitor inventory control and assist with food ordering and stock management to minimize waste and control costs Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas Assist in food production, kitchen management, and food handling procedures to uphold quality standards Lead efforts in customer service excellence, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally Coordinate with culinary teams for menu updates, special events, catering, banquets, or bar services as needed Support budgeting activities and contribute to overall restaurant management strategies

Requirements



Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants, casual dining, or fine dining establishments Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, staff training, interviewing, and development Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food industry operations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns effectively Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and food quality Culinary experience or hospitality management background preferred; barista or coffee experience is a plus Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to supervise multiple facets of restaurant operations simultaneously Previous supervising experience in a hospitality environment is highly desirable A personal licence will be an advantage
