Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting teamwork and collaboration. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively. Implement training programmes for new employees on food safety, hospitality practices, and customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment, including dining areas and kitchen facilities.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous supervisory experience is essential; experience in hotel or barista settings is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
