Situated in the heart of Mid Ulster, Ardtara is a classic Victorian country house boasting an award- winning fine dining restaurant and 9 luxurious and unique bedrooms. We pride ourselves in providing the highest levels of customer care and service to match the exacting standards of our menus.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a quality restaurant or hotel, and duties for will include:
Ensuring that the restaurant is run efficiently on a day-to-day basis with appropriate staff levels at all times.
Liaising with the assistant manager and general manager on a daily basis, collaborating closely to further sales, maintaining the high standards of customer service and continually improving standards of food, menus, and service.
Overseeing dining reservations using ResDiary: managing all seating allocations, customer comments and reservation notes.
Ensuring that the opening and closing procedures are carried out correctly and effectively.
Providing training for staff within each department in the restaurant.
Maintaining the highest level of service standards.
Applicants must:
Have a proven track record of success within their job role, with at least 1 year of relevant supervisory experience
Demonstrate effective communication with staff, management and customers.
Be able to lead and motivate a team.
Take pride not only in themselves but also as an ambassador for Ardtara.
Have good organisational skills, financial acumen, adequate ICT ability and be able to work well under pressure.
