Overview

We are new owners and managers at The Dovecote Inn and in our short time have seen an increase in covers and have generally become busier meaning we now would like to hire to support our team to give the best possible service, and help our General Manager progress elements of the business. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for food preparation and service. As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our establishment runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Supervise and manage all restaurant operations, including staff management, food production, and service delivery. Lead and motivate a team of kitchen and front-of-house staff to achieve excellence in service and hospitality. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation. Develop training programmes for new staff members and ongoing training for current team. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Collaborate with chefs to create innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences, including event and special menus.

Experience

Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Previous experience in food safety practices and regulations is essential. Background in serving or barista roles is advantageous, along with any hotel or kitchen experience. Excellent communication skills with a focus on team management and customer interaction. Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
