THE JOB
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual to join our restaurant team as a supervisor. You will be assisting the Restaurant Manager in ensuring all guests receive a high level of service and a memorable dining experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, a friendly personality and great attention to detail. The role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. A minimum of one year's supervisory experience in a restaurant is essential.
This role offers a clear opportunity for career progression, with structured support and development for the right candidate to work towards an Assistant Manager position. You will gain hands-on management experience, leadership training and exposure to all aspects of restaurant operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the delivery of food and beverages to guests as needed
Managing expectations of our guests and ensuring excellent levels of service
Assist in the management of the daily operation of the restaurant
Deal with all customer enquiries and complaints in a knowledgeable and professional manner
You are responsible for driving and maximising every sale and actively looking for opportunities to upsell our products
Cashing Up and Weekly beverage stocktake procedures
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are ideally looking for candidates who have the following attributes:
A minimum of 2 years restaurant supervision experience
Excellent food and wine knowledge
Excellent knowledge of beverages
Experience in staff training
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and get the most out of a team
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience
Well organised with good attention to detail
Smartly presented with a friendly yet professional personality
Resilient and able to work under pressure
Committed to driving sales and minimising costs
