Job Description

We're looking for an experienced, confident Restaurant Supervisor who can take ownership of the floor and deliver an exceptional guest experience from open to close. Experience in a formal/upscale restaurant setting and management of teams of 10 a must.

Weekend availability is a requirement

Guest Experience & Service Leadership

Prioritise guest satisfaction at every stage of service Resolve issues professionally and proactively Host the floor, maintain atmosphere, and ensure standards remain consistently high

Service Operations

Liaise confidently with the kitchen to ensure accurate, timely orders Oversee pacing and table flow to avoid bottlenecks Ensure all opening, mid-shift and closing procedures are executed correctly Maintain service quality during busy periods

Team Management

Train, coach and mentor FOH team members Lead pre-service briefings and maintain clear internal communication Create rotas that balance service needs with labour efficiency Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management

Reservations & Customer Communication

Manage reservation enquiries, special requests and guest messages Optimise cover management through the booking system Coordinate large bookings, dietary requirements and special occasions

Stock, Ordering & Inventory Control

Oversee daily/weekly stock checks for FOH, bar and essential kitchen consumables Ensure par levels are maintained so the kitchen and bar are always properly stocked Assist with supplier communication and placing orders when required Monitor usage and wastage to support cost control

Compliance & Standards

Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards across FOH Ensure cash handling, PDQ and till procedures are followed correctly Uphold all brand standards for presentation and service

Experience in a senior FOH or supervisor role within a busy, high-end restaurant A natural leader who commands the floor with warmth and confidence Strong communicator who works closely with the kitchen and management Calm under pressure, solutions-focused and guest-obsessed Reliable, organised, and able to take ownership of service
