. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth service flow, staff supervision, and compliance with food & beverage.
The Restaurant Supervisor will work hands-on with the team, supporting service during peak periods, managing staff performance, and ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and well-organised restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
Supervise daily bistro and bar operations to ensure high service standards
Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries, feedback, and issue resolution
Ensure the Bistro and facilities are clean, organised, and set up correctly for service
Strong communication skills
Bar & Beverage Duties
Oversee bar operations
Ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with licensing laws
Monitor stock levels - wastage recording and reporting to line manager
Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
Staff Leadership
Lead, train, and motivate bistro and bar staff
Assist the Outlets & Facilities Coordinator with staff rostering and break management
Ensure all staff follow service, safety, and compliance procedures
Ability to communicate and work with chefs to ensure service delivery
Compliance & Administration
Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health & safety, and alcohol licensing requirements
Assist management with cash handling, end-of-shift reports, and POS procedures
IT literate
Food hygiene, COSHH and allergen understanding
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality (bistro, restaurant, or bar)
Strong knowledge of bar service & FOH service cycles
Excellent customer service
Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.60 per hour
