We are seeking a proactive, engaging Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and help

deliver outstanding guest experiences in a resort environment.



Key Responsibilitie

s

Supervise daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures, service flow, guest seating, and staff deployment. Lead, mentor and motivate a team of servers, hosts/hostesses, bussers and support staff; provide coaching, feedback and training as required. Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained at all times: greeting guests, monitoring service quality, handling guest enquiries or complaints swiftly and professionally. Assist in managing reservations, guest seating plans, table turn-times, and liaising with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service. Monitor and maintain hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards in the restaurant area in line with regulatory requirements and resort standards. Support stock control, inventory of service supplies, cutlery, glassware, linen, and coordinate with F&B management on purchase orders or requisitions. Assist with staff scheduling, time-keeping and shift allocation, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods (e.g., weekends, events, weddings). Monitor guest feedback (via comment cards, online reviews, direct guest interactions) and work with management to implement improvements. Contribute to achieving revenue targets, upselling where appropriate, and ensuring a positive dining throughput aligned with resort goals and seasonal demands. Support special events, weddings or banquets organised by the resort--coordinating with events team and adapting restaurant operations accordingly. Participate in induction and training of new restaurant staff, ensuring they understand our brand standards, service etiquette and resort culture.

Skills & Experience



Previous experience (minimum 2-3 years) in a supervisory or senior service role within a restaurant, hotel, resort or hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with ability to supervise, train and motivate a service team. Excellent guest-facing communication and interpersonal skills; confident dealing with diverse clientele. Keen attention to detail, with high standards of service delivery, cleanliness and presentation. Basic financial awareness (ability to understand sales targets, upselling, cost-control implications). Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy service environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and on-call during busy resort periods or special event days. A warm, approachable demeanour and a passion for hospitality; ability to align with the resort's brand values of minimalistic design, Asian hospitality and local sourcing. (See about us section above) Knowledge of UK health & safety and food hygiene regulations; relevant certification desirable. Strong team-player mentality but able to work independently when required.
