Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food production.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Manage food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to uphold cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance the overall dining experience. Develop menus in collaboration with kitchen staff, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures, to ensure profitability.

Qualifications



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in barista duties or hotel management is advantageous but not essential.
