Job Description

As our co-founder prepares to embark on maternity leave, we are restructuring within the company and are on the hunt for an experienced FOH professional to support our management team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, dynamic team that earnt accolades from both Michelin and the Good Food Guide within their first year. You'll be working alongside our established chefs and co-owners, Jack Fields and Tom Wilson.

The successful candidate will be a natural leader, highly-organised and at their best interacting with guests, maintaining our high standards and driving the business forward, leading from the front with a focus on service.

WSET Level 2 or above is advantageous, but not a requirement; we offer extensive in-house training and support for funded qualifications. Candidates should have proven experience in a fine dining setting or restaurant of similar size. Weekend availability is essential as we operate Thursday - Sunday. You must be a 'people person' who enjoys building relationships.

A successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

Supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service flow and exceptional guest experiences, anticipating their needs and consistently delivering attentive and friendly service. Managing and mentoring front-of-house staff, including training, evaluating performance and providing feedback to team members to ensure company standards are adhered to. Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues promptly and professionally. Managing inventory and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure seamless communication and service delivery between departments. Assist management in responding to online reviews and maintaining a consistent social media presence. Drive sales targets through pro-active recommendations. Demonstrate exceptional menu knowledge of both food & beverage, ensuring quality and consistency in preparation.
Desirable certifications:

Food Hygiene Level 2 (Or higher) Fire Marshall First Aid at Work WSET Level 2
