Duties
Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operations
Manage staff schedules, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimise food production and service efficiency
Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
Organise staff meetings and training sessions to promote team development
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment at all times
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management and leadership capabilities
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel management is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and regulations
Ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
Previous barista experience or serving background is advantageous but not essential
