Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing team performance, coordinating food preparation and service, and upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

the rate of pay Is based on 12.80 plus tronic plus the rate of pay can go up after the probations is completed

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinate with the kitchen team on food production, menu planning, and special dietary requirements. Monitor staff performance, provide training opportunities, and conduct regular appraisals to promote professional development. Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation related to food safety and workplace safety. Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while optimising labour costs. Assist in marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively. Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and hospitality operations. Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes. Experience in kitchen management or culinary roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure. Leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills. Pay: From 14.50 per hour
