Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the restaurant team to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service. Assist in training new staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control measures. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for swift resolutions. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance skills and efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant sector is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: 11.44-16.18 per hour
