About the Role

Rainbow Restoration is seeking an experienced Senior Restoration Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands on role for a skilled technician who can lead by example on site while delivering high standards of workmanship, health & safety, and customer care.

As a Senior Technician, you will play a key role in the delivery of restoration projects following fire, flood, mould, and property damage incidents. This position also offers structured development opportunities, with support to progress into a Technician Manager role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Attend damaged properties and carry out strip-out works including walls, floors, ceilings, and fittings Perform water extraction and uplift saturated carpets and flooring Clean and decontaminate properties affected by fire, flood, mould, or neglect using commercial cleaning chemicals Install and manage drying equipment and techniques as required Pack, remove, clean, and store furniture and contents (on-site or off-site) Liaise professionally with customers, loss adjusters, insurers, builders, and policy holders Complete job reports and paperwork using tablet-based systems Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, including risk assessments and use of PPE/RPE Maintain company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, serviced, and fully equipped Support and mentor junior technicians on site Attend regular training courses as required

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in restoration or a similar technical field Motivated, reliable, and proactive Customer focused with strong communication skills Safety conscious with high standards of workmanship Eager to develop leadership and management skills
