Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our sales team and enhance the customer experience in our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring that our store meets its financial goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and profitability. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability. Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive work environment. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote products and drive foot traffic into the store.

Skills

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role with a strong track record of achieving sales targets. Horticultural knowledge essential for this position Horticultural qualifications required Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members. Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data and making informed decisions. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in using retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
