CF10 Retail Ltd operate retail and catering facilities in College settings in South Wales. We are currently recruiting for a retail assistant maternity cover term time only until 20/7/26 to work in our store in our Community Campus in Trowbridge. This role is full time, term time only (35 weeks per year). The hours of work are Mon-Fri 7.30am - 3.30pm. This store currently operates weekdays only and only during term time.

Working in on of our retail store offerings, the retail assistant will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive great customer service, the store is well maintained and faced up, and that the companies standards are met. The store is a single-manned operation, the retail assistant will also be responsible for placing orders and cash handling.

Main Responsibilities:

Work alongside the retail manager to deliver a great store experience Create a unique and informed customer journey through great service and product knowledge. Provide excellent customer service to all users of the facilities Cash handling and biometric till operation Day to day cleaning of back and front of house as set out in the shop manual and training. To ensure the facilities are kept to a high standard of cleaning to achieve a 5 EHO rating
To maintain store stock levels through ordering from suppliers

What we look for:

Ideally will hold a food safety qualification Have relevant retail or customer service experience Be able to work effectively and proactively in a solo working environment Passionate about delivering customer service Punctual and with good time keeping
As this is a College setting, successful candidates must complete an Enhanced Disclosure and have two satisfactory references.
