Korea Foods Company is a family-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Korean and other Asian food. We are the largest importer of Korean food in Europe, distribute to 1200 wholesale customers, including the major multiples, and operate 19 retail shops in the UK.

Contract: Perm, full time
Working Hours: 08:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday
Your role will include but not be limited to:
Duties & Key Responsibilities
Engage with Retail team members in weekly calls & through direct store visits to understand and keep abreast of current situations within Field
Handle customer calls and compose emails in a professional manner, deliver high level of customer service by fostering positive business relationships
Produce reporting on store performance and department operations
Liaise with Head office departments to ensure store needs are fed back to the appropriate stakeholders and followed up effectively
Coordinate communications to the branches and retail team member including setting up and recapping meetings
Provide clear direction and executing expectations for advertising, events and promotions for relevant Head Office Departments and Retail Management
Produce category reports to support Retail Team and VM direction
Responsible for managing store visual and campaigns to increase awareness and drive traffic, support the needs of new and existing stores
Coordinate any translation needs across training documentation, including policies, procedures & necessary training tools
Contribute to a positive brand image through effective communication, teamwork and partnership with retail management team, both internally and externally
Liaise with the Purchasing department for information to create and edit 'Item Master Data', i.e. price, item barcode and description
Work with the IT Department to ensure the Retail's SAP records are correct and up to date;
Administer the Korea Foods membership scheme, including staff discount cards;
o Work on all aspects of the customer loyalty card (including, but not limited to; making forms, amending details, checking points for customers);
o Register and provide wholesale membership card for customers in the retail stores;
o Make and distribute the staff discount cards when requested by the HR Department;
Control & Maintain the Retail Scale system through Networking to each Shop.
o Work on all aspects of the New Menu & Edit & Amend of product in the Scales.
o Call Scale engineer if the machine is unfunctional work.
o Order and Maintain the scale label (Green & Red colour)
o Focus to Check to the ingredients in the scales with Technical Manager.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
o Korean speaking
o Head Office experience in Retail Operations and Communications required
o Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues before communications are shared with store teams
o Excellent Communication both in Chinese and English (Written and verbal)
o Able to communicate effectively and across company hierarchy
o Flexible and adaptable to frequent changes with quick reactions
o Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook
