About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, hands-on

Trade Counter & Sales Manager

who's ready to take ownership, drive results, and help grow a fast-paced trade business. This isn't just a title -- it's a chance to lead from the front, make a real impact, and shape the future of the counter.

You'll be the face of the business at the counter, on the phone, and across email and social media. If you love solving problems, talking to customers, and finding ways to boost sales -- this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing1.

Selling Across All Channels



Help walk-in customers find what they need -- and what they didn't know they needed Handle phone enquiries with confidence and convert them into orders Use email to quote, upsell, and follow up professionally Promote offers via Media
2.

Running Promotions That Work



Plan and test bundle deals, seasonal offers, and flash discounts Use signage, flyers, and digital messages to get the word out Track what works and adjust as needed Coordinate with IT to make sure stock and pricing match your promotions

Turning Emails into Sales



Respond quickly and helpfully to customer messages Offer solutions and alternatives -- not just answers Follow up on quotes and past enquiries Spot patterns and improve how common issues are handled

Keeping an Eye on Competitors



Check competitor pricing and offers regularly Spot gaps and use them to your advantage Adjust your counter strategy to stay ahead Share useful insights with the team

Driving Footfall and Repeat Business



Use promotions and follow-ups to bring people in Keep the counter clean, stocked, and welcoming Deliver great service so customers come back Track footfall and conversion -- know your numbers
