Specialising in the Downwear industry since 1976, Bosideng have a long, proven history of providing quality down products across China as well as 72 countries worldwide. The brand is sold via our 4000 stores and a wide array of eCommerce platforms generating an annual turnover of 1.4 Billion.

Our business in the UK is under rapid growth. We launched the stunning, upgraded London Flagship Store in Mayfair London in October 2022. We have our own website and also have presence in a few selected 3rd party ECommerce platforms.

Overview of the role:



Bosideng are looking for a passionate, highly driven social media (SM) support Interns who has SM and Content knowledge, preferably with a premium brand to join our team for a 2-month contract period initially, with a possibility of a contract or permanent position being created.

The SM support intern role role is a key part of our Marketing plans and function at Bosideng. The role encompasses all aspects of our SM, including delivering SM content to all platforms/channels on a daily basis, planning creation content, delivering key content about Bosideng and specific activities within a SM schedule and calendar.

We are a growing business in the UK and therefore opportunities to join the company in a permanent role and progress could be a focus in the coming months.

Main duties and responsibilities



1. Content Creation & Publishing

Participate in planning and scripting social media content (aligned with brand positioning and promotional goals) Assist in shooting product photos, short videos, and behind-the-scenes footage (for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, etc.) Edit video and image materials to create engaging social media posts Regularly publish content according to the schedule to maintain platform activity
2. Platform Management & Community Engagement

Handle daily maintenance of social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) Respond to comments and direct messages to enhance user engagement and brand loyalty Monitor content performance and regularly compile social media data for team analysis
3. Online & Offline Sales Support

Create promotional materials for marketing campaigns (e.g., new product launches, sales promotions) Assist with social media coverage and real-time posting during offline events (e.g., pop-ups, influencer visits) Support the e-commerce and sales teams by aligning social media exposure with conversion goals
4. Additional Support Tasks

Research competitor social media strategies and trends to provide optimization suggestions Help organise content and communications related to brand ambassadors or collaborating influencers

What we expect from you



SM experience with a premium brand. Within retail sector, at its broadest, would be an advantage Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience of working with external agencies. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail Proficient in using all Social Media Platforms. Proven experience in social media marketing and demonstrable success in developing and executing impactful campaigns. Ability to create and execute high quality, engaging and 'on brand' content across various platforms The ability to craft compelling copy with an excellent eye for detail. Strong copywriting and literacy skills are imperative. Edit images and videos to maintain a consistent and polished visual style A good understanding of Google Analytics is preferred but not essential. Excellent administration and organisation skills. Great time management abilities. Ability to prioritise effectively. Strong PC skills, working knowledge of all Microsoft packages and reports. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*The ability to communicate in Chinese Mandarin would be advantageous.

Hours of work:



20-32 hours per week

Our office opening times are Monday - Friday with shifts ranging from a 9am start, to latest 8pm finish.

Salary:

Meets National Minimum Wage

For workers aged 21 and over (National Living Wage), the rate is 12.21 per hour. For those aged 18 to 20, the rate is 10.00 per hour.
