We are looking for an experienced and passionate

Retail Manager

to join our leadership team at

Goat Shed

. This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused, commercially minded retail professional to take ownership of our retail offer and help deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operation of the

farm shop retail areas

Lead, motivate and develop a

retail team

to deliver excellent customer service Drive sales through effective

product ranging, pricing and promotions

Own

stock control

, stock accuracy and warehouse organisation Manage

stock rotation, waste control and shelf-life compliance

Maintain retail

margins, costings and availability

Build and manage strong

supplier relationships

Ensure all retail and storage areas meet

health & safety and compliance

standards Manage staff

rotas, holidays, wage budgets and performance

Support

seasonal planning, trading peaks and recruitment

Work closely with the management team on

EPOS systems, reporting and improvements

About You

Proven experience as a

Retail Manager / Store Manager / Assistant Manager

Background in

food retail, farm shop, deli, butcher or fresh food environment

(desirable) Strong people management and leadership skills Commercially minded with experience managing

stock, margins and KPIs

Confident using

EPOS systems

and retail processes Hands-on, organised and adaptable Passionate about customer service, food and local produce Flexible to work weekends and peak trading periods
