Then we have just the role for you. We're Postmark, an award-winning greeting card retailer and we're looking for someone to manage our shop in buzzy Waterloo Station.

You'll need to have a real passion for customer service and a great eye for detail to lead the team at this busy shop and look after all our lovely customers.

As Manager of our Waterloo store, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations within a busy, fast-paced railway station environment. The role requires managing day-to-day activities instore, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maximizing sales, managing stock, and leading a team of employees. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and experience in retail management, with a focus on high-traffic locations.

Responsibilities include:

Manage and motivate your team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of your store Ensure store standards are always adhered to and that your store is merchandised to company standards. Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and Network Rail guidelines Drive store performance to meet or exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities to increase revenue. Analyse sales data to monitor performance, identify trends, and make adjustments to optimize the shop's layout, stock, and promotions. Ensuring Postmark's customers are looked after and receive the first-class customer service we pride ourselves on. Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control. Monitor stock control processes, including ordering, deliveries, and inventory audits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Lead, manage, and motivate the store team, ensuring they are fully trained, knowledgeable, and able to deliver excellent service. Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.

Qualifications
- Management experience in retail setting

- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to retail operations
- Previous experience in retail management
- Excellent communication skills for team management and customer interaction
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
