Carpet Salesperson

to join our friendly team at our East London branch.

What You'll Be Doing:

Welcoming customers into the store and helping them find the perfect flooring for their home or business. Visiting customers' homes to measure spaces, provide accurate quotes, and create clear, professional fitting plans. Closing sales both in-store and on-site, offering tailored advice based on the customer's needs and preferences. Managing flooring orders and ensuring all accessories (carpet, underlay, gripper rods, door bars, etc.) are in stock and ready ahead of scheduled fittings. Coordinating with fitters: allocating jobs, preparing schedules, and making sure everything runs smoothly on fitting days. Maintaining the showroom to a high standard - clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times. Delivering an exceptional customer experience, from first enquiry to final fitting.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in the flooring industry

- this is essential. A strong retail or showroom sales background, ideally with one-to-one customer interaction. Great communication skills - in person, over the phone, and via email. Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple jobs and customer orders efficiently. Presentable, confident, and friendly with a people-first attitude. A self-starter with strong attention to detail - from paperwork to product presentation. Comfortable visiting customers' homes and delivering accurate measurements and quotes. A team player who's happy to pitch in and help wherever needed.
