Position:

Retail Shop Assistant

Are you an experienced retail shop assistant looking for your next challenge? Our Columbia road shop sits at the heart of one of the city's most beloved Sunday markets. With its Victorian facade and vintage-style signage, it blends effortlessly into the street's artistic and historic ambiance. You will be responsible for introducing customers to our brand, informing them about our products and fragrances and guiding them on suitable purchases. The role would require you to work during the weekdays and weekends on a rota, shift patterns may change.

: Working days across Thursday to Sunday as needed, including weekends and public holidays. Shop daily working hours can vary summer and winter

Salary:

12.60 per hour. We are proud members of the Living Wage Foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that embodies our brand's values. Assist customers in selecting products, sharing insights about our products. Maintain shop cleanliness and visual merchandising to ensure a delightful shopping experience. Process transactions accurately, including electronic payments. Process delivery of stock ensuring rotation and levels maintained appropriately. Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Participate in training to deepen product knowledge and improve customer engagement techniques.

Experience and Qualifications:

Passion for natural products and providing excellent sales support . Previous retail experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse customers. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
