Retail Assistant

to join our small, dedicated team at our charming

Woodbridge shop in the heart of the high street and also working at our beautiful seaside shop in Aldeburgh.

Our boutiques blend vintage style with the rich history of the areas, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and shop team. As a key part of the team, you'll be introducing customers to our unique Norfolk Natural Living brand, sharing your knowledge of our fragrances and products, and helping them find just the right purchase.

The role includes:

Welcoming customers and sharing our story Offering advice on products and fragrance collections Ensuring a memorable, high-quality shopping experience

Availability:

Weekday and weekend shifts on a rota basis - flexibility is essential, and shift patterns may vary.

Woodbridge and Aldeburgh

Job Type:

part time - 3 to 4 shifts per week

Shift schedule

: Working days across Monday to Sunday as needed, shifts include weekends and public holidays. Shop daily working hours can vary summer and winter but average shift (working day) is 9.30 to 5pm with a 20 minute paid lunch break.

Hourly rate:

12.60 per hour. We are proud members of the Living Wage Foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that embodies our brand's values. Assist customers in selecting products, sharing insights about our products. Maintain shop cleanliness and visual merchandising to ensure a delightful shopping experience. Process transactions accurately, including electronic payments. Process delivery of stock ensuring rotation and levels maintained appropriately. Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Participate in training to deepen product knowledge and improve customer engagement techniques.

Experience and Qualifications:

Passion for natural products and providing excellent sales support . Previous retail experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse customers. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
