Job Description

Toyland is a family run business with 10 stores in the North of England. We are looking for a confident shop supervisor to join our team . This position is temporary until 31st December, with a possibility of becoming permanent

Must

have previous experience in a similar role .

We pride ourselves on looking after our staff and giving them the tools and training to become a valued member of our team.

Responsibilities

- Manage the shop's day-to-day activities and operations on the managers day off
- Supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales targets
- Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities
- Ensure the shop is clean, organised, and visually appealing
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor financial transactions and cash handling procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.40-12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 35 per week

Work Location: In person
