Job Description

To provide a proactive, customer and business focused recruitment service to all stakeholders' ensuring work is delivered on time, to a high standard, and at all times in line with safer recruitment practices.



This role will be crucial in bringing to life the six guiding principles of integrated Business Services: People Focused, Data Led, Customer Focused, Continuous Improvement, One Stop Shop and Flexible Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:



Promote excellence in practice across Barnardo's ensuring that learning is shared and implemented as appropriate within the Talent Acquisition team. Actively manage relationships with managers at all levels, to ensure that the Talent Acquisition's reputation is seen as proactive, efficient, effective and of a high quality. Deliver and maintain excellent levels of customer service to internal and external customers as standard. Keep up to date with related industry and market changes including social media and online advertising. Ensure all appropriate candidate platforms are utilised including social media, social networking, events, education partnerships, all branding opportunities, online and print journals etc. Assist hiring managers in writing effective adverts, ensure all external copies are of a high standard and are consistent with Barnardo's brand. Support the Talent Acquisition Manager to meet the charity's resourcing targets and reduce time to hire in critical roles, whilst maintaining excellent customer service. Providing a full end to end recruitment service for a variety of roles that are determined by a range of factors including but not limited to vacant hours, organizational urgency and agency spend. Liaising with recruiting managers throughout campaigns to advise on and agree requirements, timescales, selection requirements i.e. testing etc. Monitor and maintain effective and accurate management information, systems and procedures, ensuring the required quality standards and performance indicators in relation to general administration are adhered to. To understand the varying terms and conditions and recruiting practices across the different parts of the charity i.e. Retail; Schools; Regions and Nations ensuring that these are correctly and appropriately applied.

Engage and influence key stakeholders to support the organisation. Closely monitor and co-ordinate recruitment activity, making recommendations where needed to enhance the reach. To manage an efficient and effective recruitment service. Regular reports on progress, expenditure, meetings, problems and other subjects as required by the Senior Recruitment Manager. Deliver excellent customer service that meets the customer's needs and provides value for money. Develop external relationships and lead on initiatives with these partners. Work with Children's Services, Business Services and Retail colleagues to undertake specific projects.
