Based in Buckinghamshire (Aylesbury), this role plays a pivotal part in delivering technically robust and compliant retrofit solutions under various government-funded schemes. From planning and procurement to site execution and handover, you will ensure that retrofit projects align with best practice and meet the standards set out in PAS 2035. Your work will directly support clients including local authorities, housing associations, and delivery partners involved in capital programmes such as the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), Home Upgrade Grant (HUG), and Warmer Homes initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing the successful delivery of multiple EWI retrofit projects from mobilisation through to completion.
Leading site visits, contractor coordination, quality checks, and tracking project timelines and budgets.
Ensuring full compliance with PAS 2035 standards, including evidence gathering, documentation, and coordination with Retrofit Coordinators and Designers.
Liaising with internal teams (technical, design, logistics), external contractors, and clients to ensure alignment at each project stage.
Coordinating with stakeholders including retrofit designers, scheme consultants, local authorities, social landlords, and devolved authorities (e.g. West Midlands Combined Authority).
Producing regular progress reports and providing updates to clients, funders, and partners.
Supporting procurement, material call-offs, and specification reviews to ensure consistency with design intent.
Proactively resolving technical or logistical issues as they arise during delivery.
Attend retrofit industry awards evenings and networking?events where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in project management within retrofit, EWI installation, or construction delivery environments.
Strong understanding of PAS 2035 and the end-to-end retrofit process (ideally with Level 5 or 6 Retrofit qualifications).
Experience working with or delivering projects funded by SHDF, HUG, Warmer Homes, or similar capital schemes.
Familiarity with working in partnership with local authorities, housing associations, and regional combined authorities.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong organisational and reporting skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and contractors.
Willingness to travel for site visits (2-3 days per week) and coordinate with internal teams at our Aylesbury HQ.
Project Management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2) desirable.
