RGN Clinical Lead - Physical Healthcare

Location: Malsis Hall Care Home, Keighley, BD20 8FH

Salary: 21 per hour/43,680 per year

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00

We are seeking a

Clinical Lead (RGN)

to take responsibility for leading and developing physical healthcare provision for our Service Users. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated nurse who thrives on making a real difference to people's lives.

About the Role

As the Clinical Lead for physical healthcare, you will:

- Provide expert leadership in wound care, tissue viability, infection prevention, and long-term condition management, such as diabetes, respiratory, epilepsy, cardiac health.

- Act as the key liaison with GPs and health professionals to ensure Service Users receive timely and effective healthcare support.

- Lead on the early recognition and escalation of physical health concerns, ensuring safe and proactive care.

- Undertake phlebotomy duties, as required.

- Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff to build clinical confidence and maintain professional standards.

- Contribute to the Service's annual audit programme, focusing on Service Users' health and wellbeing, and drive continuous improvement in clinical practice.

- Ensure compliance with NMC Code, Care Quality Commission regulations, and company policies.

About You

We are looking for a Registered General Nurse (Adult) who:

- Has at least 3 years' post-registration nursing experience.

- Possesses strong clinical expertise in wound care, infection prevention, and physical health management.

- Is confident in leading and supporting a team, with excellent communication and mentoring skills.

- Has a proactive, person-centred approach with a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care.

- Ideally holds additional qualifications in wound management, tissue viability, or long-term condition care (desirable, not essential).
