We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered General Nurse (RGN)
to join a reputable nursing home in
Motherwell
. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, ensure resident wellbeing, and support the wider clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care to residents.
Administer medications in line with NMC guidelines and home policies.
Monitor, assess, and record resident health conditions.
Work collaboratively with care staff to support individual care plans.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
Respond effectively to emergencies and clinical needs during night shifts.
Ensure adherence to safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control standards.
Communicate professionally with residents, families, and external healthcare partners.
Support the Senior Nurse/Manager with clinical tasks and audits as required.
Requirements
Valid
NMC PIN
Previous experience in a nursing home or elderly care setting (preferred but not essential).
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently during night shifts.
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
