Duties

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. Monitor patient health status by assessing symptoms, vital signs, and medical histories. Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed by physicians. Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and patient examinations. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication use, and post-discharge care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational requirements. Ensure infection control standards are adhered to at all times. Support the organisation's commitment to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably within hospital or community care environments. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of current healthcare legislation, policies, and best practices in nursing care. Competence in using electronic health record systems is desirable but not essential.
