About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced RICS Land and Property Valuer to join our team in a managerial role. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and in-depth expertise in land and property valuation.
You will be responsible for managing and delivering residential and commercial valuations, maintaining client relationships, and supporting strategic business growth. The successful candidate will lead valuation operations, support junior team members, and help develop new client opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct accurate valuations of residential properties, taking market trends and development potential into account.
Prepare and review detailed, compliant valuation reports for clients including developers, lenders, and investors.
Manage a pipeline of valuation instructions and ensure high standards of delivery across all projects.
Take the lead in client engagement, business development, and account management.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and quality oversight to junior valuers.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support wider business objectives and strategic growth.
Maintain full compliance with RICS standards, including Red Book valuation practices.
Represent the company at networking events, client meetings, and industry forums.
Key Skills & Requirements:
MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status (required).
Minimum 5 years' experience in land and property valuation.
Proven experience managing valuation workflows and leading small teams or projects.
Strong understanding of market trends, development potential, and planning considerations.
Excellent report writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Comfortable working independently and remotely, as well as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Skills:
Experience using Argus Developer, Argus Enterprise, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Background working with developers, housing associations, or local authorities.
Knowledge of planning frameworks and land valuation techniques.
