Job: Risk & Compliance Manager

Location: Chandlers Ford (Some work in Winchester & Woking will be required)

Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Partner, this role is integral to ensuring the firm operates ethically, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll play a key role in managing risk, developing policies, and embedding a strong compliance culture across the firm.

The Role

As our Risk & Compliance Manager, you will:

Ensure compliance with SRA standards and regulations, AML requirements, GDPR, and other legal obligations. Develop, implement, and monitor risk and compliance policies and procedures. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks, providing recommendations for improvement. Deliver training and guidance to employees on regulatory responsibilities. Support the Risk & Compliance Partner with client due diligence, AML checks, and risk management processes. Work closely with senior leadership to drive a culture of compliance and best practice.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience in a risk and compliance role within a professional law firm. Strong knowledge of SRA regulations, AML and data protection laws. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
