Ritter Fresh is our Butchery and Seafood production department within Ritter Courivaud.

We are seeking an experienced individual to manage our Production Team and support the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations at Ritter Fresh. This is a dynamic role and will require experience and skills across both production and office environments, being a strong communicator will be key.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Support the Production Team, creating a positive and productive work environment. Supervise and provide guidance to the team ensuring high levels of safety and quality are maintained, working to BRC Food standards. Motivate and encourage employee engagement to foster a culture of continuous improvement encourage and develop team members. Work closely with the production leaders to ensure Intake, Production and Dispatch operations are completed successfully everyday. Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure all resources are available to fulfil our customer's orders. Manage the operation inside Business Central, Stock Control, Purchasing, Customer order processing, Invoicing and credit notes.

The successful candidate will have / be:

Butchery and/or Fish preparation experience at supervisor or management level. Experienced in food manufacturing or professional kitchen environment. Experienced in Butchery and/or Fish production. Strong knowledge of fish and meat species and products. Experienced working to high standards of food safety. A good communicator used to work within a team and leading others. Experience in dealing with Suppliers and Customers. Experience using Microsoft office programs.

A Production Manager or Operations Manager looking for a new challenge. Someone looking to progress from a role as a senior butcher or fishmonger. A Sous Chef or Head Chef looking to change careers.
