THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a skilled Roof Truss Designer to join our dynamic design office. In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving to produce accurate, efficient designs that bring architectural visions to life. You'll work with cutting-edge MiTek software and collaborate with architects, engineers, and our production teams to deliver exceptional results.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design roof trusses, floor joists, and timber structures using specialized MiTek software Transform architectural and structural drawings into precise, buildable layouts Partner with customers, architects, and engineers to deliver innovative design solutions Ensure all designs meet building regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements Prepare detailed quotations and material specifications Collaborate across teams to deliver projects on time and exceed expectations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

Previous experience in roof truss or timber engineering design Proficiency in design software (MiTek, Wolf, or equivalent) Strong understanding of construction drawings and building regulations Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

Desirable:

Relevant qualification in engineering, construction, or related field
