Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn while contributing to various roofing projects. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties

Fabricate and install roofing materials according to specifications. Weld components as necessary for roofing applications. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Assist in building structures, ensuring they are plumb and level. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required during installation and repair processes. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on-site to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to roofing and construction tasks is essential.
