Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Roofing and Cladding. This role involves working on various construction projects, focusing on the installation and maintenance of roofing systems and cladding materials. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, with hands-on experience in roofing, fabrication, and the use of various tools.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using a variety of materials. Apply cladding to buildings to enhance aesthetics and protect against weather elements. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation. Perform welding tasks as required for specific projects. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Engage in heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment on-site. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct routine inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Assist in carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction, specifically in roofing and cladding projects. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Strong skills in welding, fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and masonry are highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
