Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs on residential and commercial buildings. Learn to read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Participate in welding and fabrication tasks as required. Support carpentry work related to roofing structures and frameworks. Engage in heavy lifting of materials and equipment as necessary for project completion. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Assist with plumbing and masonry tasks related to roofing systems when needed.

Qualifications

A keen interest in construction and roofing with a willingness to learn new skills. Basic understanding of schematics, hand tools, power tools, fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and masonry is advantageous but not essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on-site. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Previous experience or training in construction or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
