We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Head Level 3 qualified professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their development. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a background in early childhood education and experience working with children.
Duties
Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care and education.
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children in your care.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies regarding health, safety, and child welfare.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating findings to parents as necessary.
Oversee daily activities within the nursery setting, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Proven management experience within a childcare setting an advantage however we are able to support a Level 3 practitioner wanting to take the next step for the right candidate.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills in English.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is essential.
A sound understanding of childcare practices and child development principles.
Ability to drive is advantageous as we are in a rural setting where public transport is infrequent.
