Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to oversee daily operations at our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. As a room Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursery staff during shifts to ensure high-quality childcare services. Drive effective communication among team members to promote collaboration and a positive atmosphere. Engage with children to promote their development through play-based learning activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as nursery policies. Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Provide guidance and support to staff in implementing early childhood education practices. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is essential. Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided at the nursery. Experience in managing teams and resolving conflicts in a professional manner is desirable.
