About the Role:



As a

Room Leader

, you'll take the lead in your designated room, guiding your team in delivering exceptional care and engaging learning experiences. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading by example and has a genuine passion for early years education.

You'll work closely with the Nursery Manager and senior staff to:

Support the daily running of your room Ensure consistent, high-quality care and education Motivate and mentor your room team Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where both children and staff thrive

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day running of your room, maintaining high standards of care and education Deliver a fun, engaging, child-led curriculum in line with the

Curriculum for Wales (CfW)

Be a positive role model in interactions, play, and routine care Support, mentor, and motivate your room team Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed consistently Build strong, supportive relationships with families Complete observations, assessments, and contribute to audits/inspections Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to share best practice

What We're Looking For:



Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Level 4/5 qualification, or willingness to work towards Good knowledge of CIW regulations, safeguarding legislation, and the Curriculum for non-maintained settings Confident leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support a small team Strong organisational and communication skills Welsh speaking is desirable but not essential Driver with access to own vehicle and willingness to obtain business insurance Genuine passion for delivering high-quality early years education and care
