What We're Looking For
Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification (required)
At least 3 years' experience in childcare or a nursery setting (preferred)
Strong leadership and team support skills
A genuine passion for early years education and making a positive difference
Positive, motivated, and solutions-focused mindset
Strong communication and customer service skills
Key Responsibilities
Lead the pre-school room and oversee day-to-day operations
Deliver the nursery's "learning through play" ethos and bespoke curriculum
Plan and implement creative, engaging activities to support child development
Ensure safeguarding and welfare procedures are followed at all times
Support and mentor practitioners, deploying staff effectively across the room
Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers
Monitor planning, assessments, and EYFS delivery to maintain quality standards
Work collaboratively with management to support staff training, appraisals, and development
Promote a safe, clean, and inclusive environment for children and staff
